City of Stonnington has multiple casual opportunities available for Customer Service Officers to join our enthusiastic and dedicated team in two of Melbourne’s most well-known and treasured leisure facilities: Harold Holt Swim Centre - an exciting, modern and fully accessible community facility and Prahran Aquatic Centre - an iconic community facility in the heart of Prahran.
As an Aquatic Services Customer Service Officer, you will utilise your excellent communication skills to facilitate an enjoyable experience for the community, maintaining a professional image at all times to both internal and external customers. Additionally you will provide up-to-date and accurate information about the centre facilities, services and programs to new and existing centre users, both in person and over the telephone. You will also be responsible for supervising the public entry and collecting entry fees in accordance with centre and Council administrative and financial procedures.
As the successful applicant you will possess previous customer service experience, preferably in the leisure industry or similar environment. Additionally, you will have naturally strong communication skills both verbal and written, have exceptional interpersonal skills and a willingness to assist and engage with people of all ages and backgrounds. You will also hold a current CPR certificate and a current and valid Working with Children’s Check (employee). Please include copies of your qualifications / licences with your application.
