Griffith Sport forms part of Campus Life and provides a diverse range of sporting and recreational activities, services and facilities for staff, students and the external community.
The Manager, Sports Precinct Gold Coast is responsible for the day-to-day management and operation of the Aquatic centre, Athletics track and field located on the Griffith University Gold Coast campus. The position is required to engage with internal and external stakeholders optimising facility utilisation and performance.
This is a continuing, full time position based at the Gold Coast campus.
The successful candidate will have highly developed communication, organisational, negotiation and administrative skills with demonstrated people management skills. They will be self-motivated and able to demonstrate a high level of individual initiative, discretion and judgement to perform duties independently and to manage multiple tasks with limited supervision. Experience in the management of sport facilities is required, ideally in aquatics. Involvement in student based services would be advantageous.
HEW Level 7: Salary $82,577 - $89,464 per annum. Salary package including 17% employer superannuation contribution: $96,616 - $104,673 per annum.
