Working with the Triathlon Australia High Performance Operations Manager, to provide administrative support to the Triathlon Australia High Performance Program.
Key Performance Areas & Responsibilities
To provide administrative support across the TA High Performance Programs, including Individual, Paratriathlon, Mixed Relay Athlete Development and race/event delivery.
To assist in the development and management of required reporting to the AIS, APC, IPC, ITU, NIN and other stakeholders as directed by the National Performance Director.
In conjunction with the TA High Performance Operations Manager, to provide administration support for all required program and team travel.
In conjunction with the TA High Performance Operations Manager, to assist in the management of the High Performance budget in order to efficiently deliver the TA High Performance Plan.
To reconcile accounts for international athletes, athletes overseas or in training camps, including the invoicing and collection of money, in line with approved budgets and athlete support models
Manage and administer the ITU athlete entry system and processes as directed by the NPD and PPM
Coordination of paratriathlon Classification program
In conjunction with the TA High Performance Operations Manager, to assist with the operational plans for TA teams, camps and tours, including organising flights, accommodation, transport, outfitting, schedules and training venues
Continually review policies, procedures and manuals relating to the organisation and the conduct of the TA teams, tours, camps and squads.
To maintain the TA Athlete Agreement and ensure all athletes receiving support have signed each year and/or as they come into TA programs
In conjunction with the TA High Performance Operations Manager, to work with apparel manufacturers, sponsors and commercial suppliers to procure appropriate outfitting and other goods for supply to athletes and staff on TA teams, tours, camps and squads
Manage, in association with Communications and IT providers, all web content on the High Performance sections of the TA website.
Manage stakeholder communication including contributing to National Performance Director report requirements for the Chief Executive Officer and Triathlon Australia Board.
Any other request relating to the delivery of Triathlon Australia programs and services as directed by the National Performance Director.

Experience and Qualifications
At least 1 years’ experience in a program or project management role
Demonstrated experience and success in sports administration and financial management
An understanding of the needs of elite and emerging athletes and coaches within triathlon
A strong understanding of the structure and dynamics of Australian sport, including the relationships at local, state and national level.
Sports Administration or Management qualification
First aid and resuscitation certificate
Working with children check
Competencies and personal attributes
A willingness to work non-business hours and to travel extensively
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Triathlon Australia (TA) is the governing body for the sport of triathlon in Australia. Triathlon Australia is recognised by the International Triathlon Union (ITU) and the Sport Australia (SA) as the National Federation representing Triathlon.
The Triathlon Australia High Performance program, is a partnership between Triathlon Australia, Sport Australia, Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) and the Australian Paralympic Committee. The program provides a nationally integrated and coordinated approach to assist the development and preparation of elite and sub-elite athletes who have the potential to succeed at international level in International Triathlon Union (ITU) draft-legal racing. The key performance measure for the program is the delivery of medals at the Olympic Games, Commonwealth Games and ITU World Triathlon Series and ITU World Championships.
