Swimming NSW, the NSW Institute of Sport (NSWIS) and Sydney Olympic Park Authority (SOPA) partner to deliver a world-class coaching program to the Sydney Olympic Park Aquatic Centre (SOPAC) as part of a Swimming Australia National Hub. Swimming NSW operates an underpinning Performance Centre at SOPAC, led by the SOPAC Performance Centre Head Coach.

The Head Coach will provide exceptional leadership to the team of Performance Centre coaches through their advanced technical knowledge and outstanding communication skills. It is vital that the Head Coach provides a whole of program approach ensuring that every swimmer and coach in the program pathway has the opportunity to reach their potential.

To be successful in this role, you will have high performance coaching experience over a sustained period and a proven track record of building a high performance culture and achieving results whilst prioritising athlete wellbeing.

A critical component of this position is the understanding that the role of the Head Coach is to develop athletes ready to progress to the Swimming Australia National Hub at SOPAC.
