Rainbow Club Australia is a charity that helps children with a disability learn to swim. We have 25+ clubs in NSW and have plans to increase our footprint to meet the increasing demand for membership. All our clubs are run by volunteer committees and we employ approx. 150 swimming teachers on a casual basis to provide individualised swimming lessons.
We are now looking for an Aquatics Development Manager who is self-motivated, collaborative, experienced and highly organised to manage compliance and to add new services.
Manage all aspects of our diverse teacher workforce including recruiting, induction, performance and recognition
Liaise with a variety of pool owners/managers and monitor all aspects of risk management to ensure the service we deliver for our members is of the highest standard, compliant and best practices are maintained.
Collaborate, design & implement a Wellness Program that supports and engages children with a disability who are able to swim and no longer need individualised lessons.
Have a working knowledge of the Work Health & Safety Act/Regulations and Child Protection Regulations
Be available to visit clubs on weekends as required
Hold a current drivers licence and have access to a comprehensively insured vehicle.
Attend key functions in the Rainbow Club calendar and represent Rainbow Club as required
Have a minimum of 7 years’ experience in the Aquatics industry
Hold a formal swim teacher/swim coach qualification
Understanding of NDIS
Previous experience working with people with a disability
Current Working With Children check
Current Senior First Aid / CPR Certificate
Swim Teacher or Swim Coaching qualification from AUSTSWIM or Swimming Australia
