To be responsible for the effective and efficient implementation and management of the swim school program and reception service, this includes:
Smooth operation of the swim school program, to ensure performance targets are established and to monitor the effectiveness of the program
To coordinate all bookings and customer enquiries for Swim School in an efficient manner
Select, induct, train and supervise swim school staff to develop a professional, customer service oriented team and provide them with development opportunities
Ensure safety during the delivery of the swim school programs
Coordinate, develop and maintain effective administration systems and procedures
To assist with the continuous improvements to the swim school systems, programs, policies, procedures and services
Liaise with parents, teachers and children and ensure they receive appropriate information and feedback that is timely and accurate
To be responsible for keeping records on the financial viability of all aquatic programs and prepare reports to management on performance, budget variations, program analysis and development and attendance statistics
To be responsible for keeping enrolment figures for all programs and an efficient recording system
To assist with the preparation and implementation of ASTA’s Operational Business and Promotional plan
To assist in developing procedures and policies to ensure all programs run efficiently and meet customers’ needs
To supervise all swim school programs to ensure a high standard of instruction and service delivery
To ensure all swim teacher and reception staff maintain a high level of customer service and assist in monitoring performance
Preparing and planning of staff rosters to ensure they meet Guidelines for Safe Pool Operations (GSPO) ratios for all activities.
Ensure service compliance with all legislative requirement, industry standards, regulations and best practice
While RLS strives to provide a friendly and safe work environment, all staff are required to play an active role in identifying potential safety issues which may cause injury or illness to staff or patrons. Such issues should be brought to the attention of Facility Manager to enable prompt action.
