The GSV Sport Officer will undertake general administrative duties inherent to the smooth functioning of the GSV Office. These include but are not limited to:
Assume overall responsibility for the delivery and conduct of the annual Year 7 Expo
Assume overall responsibility for the following components of the GSV Weekly Sport Program:
Venue Bookings
First Aid
Pennants
Photography
Updating of Risk & Compliance documentation
Appoint Event Officials/Umpires for GSV Major Carnivals and Weekly Sport program
Preparation of official event documentation for GSV Major Carnivals and Weekly Sport program
Assist with Weekly Sport fixturing and maintenance of Weekly Sport results

Meeting Minutes
Stock Management
Administrative tasks as required
Qualifications
Relevant tertiary qualifications and experience in education and / or sports administration / management
Current Level 2 First Aid & CPR
Child Safe Compliance - current Working with Children Check (WWCC) or VIT registration
Key Performance Indicators
Advanced computer skills - Microsoft Office
Cooperative approach - ability to work as a member of a team as well as autonomously
Ability to be proactive and take initiative
Strong organisational and time management skills and attention to detail
Understanding of the GSV Sport program and familiarity with organisation of sport in schools
High level communication and interpersonal skills
Maintain confidentiality and professionalism
Some flexibility regarding working hours may be required
