About Oak Park Sports and Aquatic Centre
After a $27.3 million redevelopment, the Oak Park Sports and Aquatic Centre was completed in September 2018 and offers a state of art 24 hour gym and spinning studio as well as a multipurpose and group fitness room. The seasonal outdoor aquatic area comprises of a heated 50 metre pool, 20m learn to swim pool, two waterslides and a children’s water play pool with water features and slide.
The Centre is open all year round with the aquatic areas open from 1 October through to 30 April and all pools are heated
Key Elements of the Role
We are seeking skillful, effective and proficient Swimming Teachers to join our fantastic team at Oak Park Sports and Aquatic Centre.
There are many opportunities for progression within the Active Moreland Facilities.
The suitable candidate would need to be available in January for our summer intensive, as well as some weekday evenings and weekend mornings for our swimming program, which includes teaching swimming and water safety for school-aged children.

- Experience in Aquatic Education and Water Safety.

- Available to work flexible hours including evening and weekends
Qualifications
Mandatory Pre-requisite Qualifications
- AUSTSWIM Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety or equivalent
- HLCPR201A - Perform Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
- HLTAID003 - Provide First Aid
