What is Gymnastics Australia looking for in their Senior Manager, Brand Communications?
GA is looking for a Senior Manager, Brand Communications to take the lead and be responsible for the development, positioning and ongoing management of the Gymnastics Australia brand through creative and relevant marketing and communications strategies and activities, and the servicing of commercial and government partners.
This position is the driver of innovative and positive whole of sport strategies to best align and position the Gymnastics brand through media, PR, marketing and commercial activities, working collaboratively with all stakeholders, internal and external.
This position will report to and work closely with the CEO to effectively manage commercial partnerships and ensure that all agreements are executed with best practice standards.

An experienced professional who can take the lead in building the brand of Gymnastics in Australia through relevant, increased positive media exposure and effective integrated communication. You will also have the overall management in developing and delivering an internal & external communications strategy that reflects all areas of the business.
A strategic thinker with sound grasp around the challenges brand and communication underpinned by extensive experience in operational delivery.
The ideal candidate will have:
Skills and experience
- Tertiary qualifications in Communications and/or Marketing / or / Sports Business Management with specific work in these areas.
- Can clearly demonstrate autonomous responsibility for developing and driving a brand, marketing and communications strategy with oversight of aligned activities to implement those strategies
- Development of collateral to assist sponsorship proposals
- Demonstration of direct involvement in the development and delivery of reporting for commercial and government partners
- Experience in legal contract delivery and servicing
- Proven ability to manage challenges and determine effective solutions
- Proven ability to formulate, design and execute a strategic plan which aligns stakeholders to maximise their contributions, especially in the area of communications, brand and/or marketing
- Working knowledge of the Australian sporting system, highly desirable
- Project management experience
