The opening of our highly anticipated Aquatic Centre and outdoor multi-purpose playing fields this year sees the vision of our Wellbeing Precinct come to fruition.  The Aquatic Centre houses an indoor heated technique pool and an indoor heated 25-metre, 8 lane pool and one (1) metre and three (3) metre diving boards.

About the role:

The School is expanding its Learn-to-Swim and squad programs and is seeking enthusiastic and energetic Swim Instructors that have a passion for swimming and inspiring children to feel safer in, and around water.

• have proven ability to interact effectively and maintain positive relationships with students, staff, parents and community members to ensure maximum benefit from services provided.

About you:

Essential

• Current Working with Children Check permit (or Full VIT registration)
• AUSTSWIM Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety qualification (or equivalent)
• Current CPR Certificate

Desirable

• AUSTSWIM Teacher of Towards Competitive Strokes (TCS)
• First Aid Certificate
• Level 1 or 2 Coaching Accreditation (minimum)
• 2 years’ experience and/or background in the relevant sport
• Australia Pool Lifeguard Certificate
• AUSTSWIM Teacher of Infant and Preschool Aquatics (INF)
