Tri Star Gymnastics is one of New Zealand’s largest and most progressive gymnastics clubs with programmes from recreation through to high performance gymnastics. We operate in the exciting and beautiful city of Auckland. We are looking to employ an experienced Competition Programme Manager to lead our high performing competition programmes.
Key Responsibilities
Competitive programme staff leadership (approximately 8-10 staff across the four gymnastics codes)
Coaching 20-25 hours / week (preferably MAG but will consider candidate with WAG coaching skill set)
Candidates with leadership skills but without gymnastics experience will be considered for a 0.5 administration role.
Liaising with the club competitive parents
Reporting to the GM.
Required skills / experience
Adaptability to our athlete centred, positive training culture.
Experience in a high performance environment - preferably gymnastic programme.
Excellent leadership skills with experience in building teams.
Excellent English communication skills both written and verbal.
Will have personally developed junior and senior international athletes of a high calibre.
Ideally have University level, GNZ Senior Coach or equivalent qualifications.
Show good organisational, and leadership skills.
Be first aid trained.
Be a NZ citizen or hold a New Zealand working visa.
Current Drivers license.
Work 40 hours / week (including planning), 6 days / week, and competitions as required.

This position reports to the General Manager.
The right candidate will be passionate about gymnastics (particularly high performance) and be prepared to contribute positively to our team environment to help our athletes succeed.
Remuneration will be dependant on experience and qualifications.
