Description

The South Sydney Rabbitohs are a well-respected NRL Club and the Membership Team are considered market leaders, with the fastest growing Sporting Membership in Australia and one of the largest Membership bases in the NRL.

Reporting to the Membership & Match Day Manager, the role of Senior Membership Executive is crucial to the Membership Team. The role requires a creative minded person, committed to improving overall engagement with Rabbitohs Members and assisting with retention, ensuring the Rabbitohs maintain their position as market leaders in the NRL club Membership and Consumer Experience.

The Senior Membership Executive requires previous experience in a membership based role, strong communication skills, absolute attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of the processes and procedures of a Football Club Membership Program. Proficiency with the Membership CRM System Archtics is required.

The Senior Membership Executive will be required to work at all Rabbitohs Home Games, Membership Events and ad hoc Community Events.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage the day to day operations of the Membership CRM System (Archtics) including but not limited to; fulfilment processing, data cleanse management, system management, event and price category building, event management within the (Archtics) system and the administration of the monthly and annual Rolling Rabbit payment plan.
  • Continue to develop and oversee the day to day operations of the debt recovery process to ensure a minimal amount of debt is credited and that best practice is maintained through all debt recovery systems and processes.
  • Manage the yearly seat change and allocation process in Archtics. 
  • Oversee the casual and internship staff program and rostering as well as developing further strategies that continually streamline the systems and processes within the Membership department to incorporate best practice.
  • Coordinate the annual Rolling Rabbit, Renewal and Acquisition mail outs as well as assisting in administering SMS and email communications which form part of the SSFC Membership & Marketing program.
  • Oversee the day to day operations of the Membership program including monitoring call response times, following through on member enquires, plus answering incoming phone calls when required.
  • Manage the day to day systems management with the fulfilment supplier TPF to ensure quality service standards are maintained within the membership program.
  • Key point of contact for all Club 1908 Members
  • Develop Sales Strategies to enhance renewals and the acquisition of new members
  • Develop an outbound sales strategy for unrenewed Members
  • Plan and oversee all Member Events and Community event staffing requirements
  • Produce and execute Member Events calendar and budgets
  • Develop, implement and manage the operations and coordination of the annual membership event calendar
  • Identify opportunities in conjunction with Souths Cares and Fan Development to enhance the Membership presence and engagement within the local and broader communities.
  • Manage the game day operations and member engagement strategies including but not limited to; data checks, match day activation planning and implementation, accreditation management, coordination and development of match day digital assets, coordination and management of the post-match Members function.
  • Develop, implement and manage the day to day operations in conjunction with the Membership & Match Day Manager of the seasonal match day member engagement calendar and match day staffing requirements.
  • Various adhoc duties as required by Membership & Match Day Manager

PERSONAL SPECIFICATIONS

  • Passion for the sports industry is essential, specific knowledge of Rugby League is desirable
  • Strong attention to detail and thorough documentation necessary
  • Excellent prioritisation and organisational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to work well under pressure, manage conflicting priorities and meet deadlines 
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Able to both work autonomously and as part of cross functional teams
  • A highly motivated, "can do" approach toward all given tasks

Essential Requirements

  • Proficiency with the membership CRM System Archtics
  • Minimum 2 years' experience working with a sporting Club Membership Program
  • Ability to illustrate a thorough understanding of the processes and procedures of a Club Membership Program
  • Ability to work all Rabbitohs home matches, events and ad hoc community events which fall outside of normal business hours
