The Role
The Participation Coordinator will be responsible for the coordination and administration of key programs that promote increased participation in Netball, including NetSetGo and other key netball participation products.
Your major responsibilities will include:
- Provide training, assistance and support to Netball NSW Affiliated Associations and Clubs to ensure the effective implementation of participation products (including NetSetGo).
- Oversee participants, Association and Club registrations to ensure they are correct and provide education and ongoing support.
- Work closely with affiliated Netball Associations and Clubs to increase participation.
- Deliver participation products, including: NSG Program Delivery when required; Visiting Association and Club programs; NSG Education Sessions; Suncorp Super Netball activations and NSG Ambassadors appearances.
- Generate regular reports regarding participation products delivery and achievement of performance indicators.
What we are looking for
You will have an interest in Netball and an understanding of the sporting culture. Previous experience at developing or delivering sports programs is desirable.
In addition, you will be able to demonstrate:

- Highly organized with the ability to juggle many tasks at once.
- High level interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Sound Administration and MS Office skills.

Netball NSW is the peak state sporting organisation responsible for the governance, development, promotion and administration of netball throughout New South Wales and is affiliated to Netball Australia.

Netball NSW has a proud history of elite netball teams and athletes’ performances in national and international competition. Over 300 athletes have proudly represented NSW in elite competition since the inception of the national netball league in 1997 and then the ANZ Championship. 2017 saw the introduction of the Suncorp Super Netball, the top Australian domestic competition which includes two Netball NSW elite teams, the NSW Swifts and GIANTS Netball.
