About the Role
Based at Gippsland Regional Aquatic Centre (GRAC) in Traralgon, you’ll be the first person our customers see as they walk through the door, providing the highest possible level of service to all members and guests. Handling a broad range of customer enquiries in person, over the phone and via email, you will routinely be involved in;
- Responding to membership sales inquiries;
- Coordinating program bookings; and,
- Cash handling.
While the position primarily operates from the front desk, it also includes providing support and customer service around the Centre. In doing this you’ll build a detailed understanding of the full suite of services and programs that the centre offers, engaging and empowering customers to get the most out of this wonderful new facility.
These positions are being offered on a permanent part time and casual basis.
What we’re looking for
Above all you’ll be excited about the opportunity to contribute to the success of Victoria’s newest and most impressive recreational facility. To be successful in the role you’ll also be:
- A natural people person, adept at dealing with members of the public at volume while delivering exceptional customer service;
- Confident and experienced in understanding customer needs, managing expectations and resolving occasional conflict;
- Experienced in cash handling dealing with multiple transactions in a high volume situation Demonstrates YMCA Victoria values, Honesty, Caring, Respect and Responsibility
Qualifications
To be successful in your application you must be willing to obtain to following prior to commencement:
- Provide First Aid accreditation
- CPR accreditation
All candidates will be required to undertake background and probity checks including Reference Checks, a Criminal Record Check and Working with Children Check prior to commencement.
