The Queensland Academy of Sport (QAS) has embarked upon a bold and ambitious 2032 Vision, to ‘Inspire Extraordinary Sporting Success.’ QAS now seeks a Senior Movement Scientist to provide world-leading evidence-based movement science servicing (integrated biomechanics, skill acquisition and performance analysis) and advice at the Swimming Australia High Performance Hub Program which leads to winning outcomes for athletes and coaches!

Reporting to the Hub Manager, the Senior Movement Scientist is responsible for examining senior athlete’s movements and provide movement science servicing integrated with biomechanics, performance analysis and skill acquisition.
To be considered for the Senior Movement Scientist, you will have a demonstrable track record in high performance sport and experience delivering biomechanics, performance analysis and skill acquisition services.
We are looking for a team player with:
You will have a degree qualification in sport and exercise science or similar, and a post-graduate qualification in this specific field would be highly desirable. You will also be an ESSA Accredited Sport Scientist - Level 2 (ASpS L2).
