Description

Overview: Be the leader of the operations across our facilities to ensure the facility is well presented, and our team is delivering great service to our customers.

  • Directly hire, manage and train our front desk staff, and solve any issues that are escalated
  • Oversee the execution of communications by Front Desk and Sales reps
  • Manage the day-to-day operations at the facilities (presentation, maintenance, cleaning, stock)
  • Manage the execution of customer service calls, sales calls, & payment reminder calls
  • Weekly report on operations to Managing Director

Skills You Need for this Role:

  • A great communicator - you will be directly managing a number of Front Desk employees, oversee a number of coaches, and directly work with relevant suppliers.
  • Ability to have your finger on the pulse of the business. Anticipate problems before they arise.
  • Be really organised. You will be assigned a wide range of responsibilities, be able to manage your time, and organise your team and your tasks. 
  • Have an eye for detail - be able to identify standards of cleanliness, presentation and service and keep us consistently at that standard.
  • Be tech-savvy - we use all types of software to make our job easier (Slack, Trello, Perfect Gym, Deputy, ActiveCampaign, Zapier, ZenDesk). You need to be comfortable using and learning new software.
  • Be a great problem solver. Every day is a new, unique problem to solve, from staff to equipment maintenance, to software vendor management.
  • Be self-organising, self-driven. There won't be someone micro-managing you.
  • Must have management experience (not necessarily in fitness industry)
  • Must have interest in basketball, and a fitness/sports background is a nice to have.
  • Must have a driver's license

Employment Details

  • Salary: $90k-110k
  • Start date: as soon as reasonably possible
  • Location: Greater Sydney - Rotate through various facilities as needed 
  • Hours: Flexible within reason - Could be a 12pm-9pm, or 9pm-5pm. You can shape this to fit your management style.
  • Other: A car is necessary. Car allowance can be built into your contract if necessary.
