The Manly Warringah Sea Eagles are an iconic Australian sporting organisation, and one of the most successful teams in the National Rugby League since entering the competition in 1947. The Sea Eagles boast a rich history and proud, loyal supporter base, and after an incredibly exciting season in 2021 and finishing in the preliminary finals, the excitement is already building for a bigger and better 2022. To add to this, we will be moving into our new Centre of Excellence and offices in early 2022, located at our home stadium of 4 Pines Park in Brookvale.

The Sea Eagles are looking for a membership superstar to join as a Membership Executive in our small but high-functioning team. The primary focus of the Membership Executive is to drive membership acquisition and retention, whilst also ensuring the long-term satisfaction and engagement with all members and fans. Working in a fast-paced and exciting team environment, you will assist in delivering our 2022 Membership campaign across the season, organise game day and member events and opportunities, and take the lead in the daily communications between the Club and our members and fans.  

Key Tasks Include:

  • Drive membership numbers and sales, through implementing strategies and strong marketing campaigns to target current and prospective members.
  • Identify opportunities to drive member and fan engagement.
  • Ongoing identification and development of new membership programs and opportunities, and assist with building strategies to support this.
  • Use marketing platforms to create and send eDM and SMS communication to members and prospects.
  • Organising and facilitate member events and opportunities
  • Work all home games, performing various tasks to service members and fans, and assist with other game day operations when required.

About You:

  • Bachelor Degree/Tertiary Qualifications in Sports/Business.
  • At least 1 – 2 years of experience in a similar role or environment.
  • Experience with Archtics or another CRM/Membership platform is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisation skills.
  • A passion for sport and desire to grow our member base and give our members the best experience possible.

This is a full-time role with a normal week of 38 hours. However, due to the nature of this industry, some work outside of regular working hours (including evenings and weekends) will be required. This includes working at all home games during the season.
