Panthers Rugby League has a rare opportunity for a recent graduate or highly motivated individual to take up the role of Digital Content Producer in our busy Football team. Reporting to the Media Manager and working closely with the Media and Marketing departments, this role is responsible for producing a wide variety of digital content across internal, external and social media platforms for the Penrith Panthers Rugby League Football team.

Enjoying a wide range of various tasks, your main duties and responsibilities will include, however are not limited to:

  • Producing engaging video and photographic content for distribution across the Panthers network;
  • Devising, planning, filming and editing regular and one-off video content in a dynamic and fast paced environment;
  • Planning and executing still photography in settings ranging from studio shoots to action photography;
  • Managing multiple concurrent projects whilst adhering to specific deadlines and;
  • Assisting the Marketing and Media departments with other tasks as and when required of the position

To be successful in this role, you will possess the following:

  • Demonstrated skills in end-to-end video production and still photography;
  • A passion for visual storytelling;
  • Confidence using cameras, lighting and sound equipment to achieve high quality results;
  • Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Premiere Pro and Photoshop, are highly desirable;
  • Entry Level skills in After Effects are highly desirable;
  • Confidence using social media platforms to distribute digital content, in particular, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram;
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team and;
  • An interest in sport, particularly Rugby League, would be advantageous.

We are seeking a passionate self-starter who can bring their creative flair to this dynamic role. This position requires flexibility with working hours, and involves regular weekend work and occasional travel during the NRL season. The successful candidate will be required to work at Panthers games throughout the season, including away games out of Sydney and interstate.
