About Softball WA

Softball WA is the peak body responsible to conduct, encourage, promote, advance, control and administer all forms of Softball in and throughout Western Australia, working collaboratively with member Associations for the mutual and collective benefit of Members and Softball. Our core vision is growing participation and the member experience by providing engaging competitive & recreational opportunities to a diverse membership.

About the role

The CEO will lead the strategic development and execution of Softball WA with a view to grow the sport through participation initiatives, strategic engagement and commercial value.

The CEO will support the Board, Member Associations and their clubs in the development and growth of the sport. 

The CEO will build a positive and proactive culture through a set of shared attitudes, goals, behaviours, and values to represent the brand of Softball in WA.

About you:

You will bring strong operational skills at a senior executive level with a track record of delivering strategic outcomes. You will be an individual committed to excellence with a proven ability to foster positive stakeholder relationships and community engagement.

You will have:

• Demonstrated experience in a Sports Management role
• Tertiary qualifications in business, sports administration, or relevant field
• Senior leadership experience
• A working knowledge of supporting / reporting to a Board
• Strong communication and engagement skills
• A proven track record of business growth
• Strong financial acumen
• A passion for sport
