This role for the Physiotherapist at the AUSA Facility involves diagnosing and managing sports injuries in a clinic and performance gym setup.

Perfect role for someone who wants to regularly work with athletes at all levels and work within a multi-disciplinary team.

DETAILS

• Hours will be flexible and negotiable depending on availability 
• 30+ hours per week on a part-time basis with the ability to quickly become full-time

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Performance / Physio
  • Assist in physio bookings, rescheduling, and general administrative tasks
  • Programming Rehabilitation exercises for clients
  • Diagnosing and treating musculoskeletal and sporting injuries
  • Coaching group sessions in Rehab and Performance
  • Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, predominantly closely with the S&C coaches
• Administration
  • Follow up calls with Physio or Performance leads
  • Assisting with Rehab programming 
  • Assisting with Physio emails and in-person inquiries
  • Communicate efficiently with colleagues and management

Job Requirements

• Studied an Undergraduate degree in Physiotherapy or a Masters of Physiotherapy
• At least 1-2 years of experience in Private practice
• Experience in the health and fitness industry
• Reliable, passionate & trustworthy
• Be able to solve problems independently when necessary
• Be relationship-focused, able to build relationships with members and parents
• Knowledge/interest in basketball and professional sports
• Sales background is highly valued
• High level of communication skills
• Focus on being self-driven. Be able to manage yourself and hold yourself accountable to execute your role
• Availability to work evenings and some weekends
