The Melville City Hockey Club is one of the largest in the world class Hockey WA competition and has facilities and a junior program that are the envy of others.
We are seeking expressions of interest from individuals to continue the role of Junior Development Officer. The incumbent is unable to continue into 2025 however will be available to undertake a handover.
The role can be split if suitable candidates are interested.
2025 Identified Priorities & Programs
Facilitate and coach identified junior talent under an Academy framework. Structure and skills focus to be agreed.
Coach education.
Prepare Melville juniors for state team selection.
Coordinate/coach age group specific 6-day hockey clinic’s during school holidays.
Provide private individual/small coaching sessions as requested.
Guide/participate in junior pre-season training/gradings.
Undertake school engagement sessions.
KPI’s will be established with the successful candidate.
