Table Tennis Queensland is looking for a motivated and engaging person to support the Executive Officer in the delivery of a number of key projects and events in 2025.
This is a permanent part-time 12-month contracted position commencing in January 2025 (subject to appointment) until 31 December 2025.

The Participation, Events & Marketing Officer will support the Executive Officer in the delivery of a participation strategy to grow awareness and participation of table tennis in schools, including coordination of the QLD schools’ regional events and state final. The role will also play an integral role in the planning, delivery and marketing of major events during the year, and have significant responsibility to effectively manage and administer the social media and marketing strategy to grow the brand profile of TTQ and the sport of table tennis in Queensland!

The project focused nature of the role calls for exceptional time management, outstanding communication skills and an outcomes focused mindset.

Essential Criteria
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Strong to advanced computer skills
- Tertiary qualifications are not essential, but a passion for sports, event management and marketing and a desire to start or develop a career in sports would be an distinct advantage.
- Ability to work autonomously on project-based tasks
- Ability to apply pro-active thinking and problem solving
- Committed to the goals, aims and objectives of Table Tennis Queensland
Desirable Criteria
- Previous experience in sports coaching is desirable but not a pre-requisite. A current accreditation in table tennis coaching will be highly regarded.
- Interest or background in Table Tennis and Table Tennis Coaching.
