NSW SWIFTS OVERVIEW

The NSW Swifts are one of the most successful clubs in Australian sport and NSW’s most celebrated professional female sports team.

Formed in 1997 as the Sydney Swifts before rebranding as NSW Swifts in 2008, some of Australia’s - and the world’s - greatest-ever netball players have represented the Club; from Liz Ellis AO, Catherine Cox AM and Kim Green OAM in years past, to current champions Paige Hadley, Maddy Proud and Helen Housby MBE.

Pioneers and leaders of women in sport, the Swifts are a proud Foundation Club of Australia’s National Netball League (currently Suncorp Super Netball) and have won seven Premierships in each era of competition:

  • 2001, 2004, 2006, 2007 (Commonwealth Bank Trophy)
  • 2008 (Trans-Tasman ANZ Championship)
  • 2019, 2021 (Suncorp Super Netball)

Across 28 seasons of the National League, the Swifts have contested an unrivalled 13 Grand Finals.

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

We are looking to hire a dedicated, professional and passionate Consumer Operations Coordinator to join our Champion Team.

The purpose of this position is to assist in growing the number of NSW Swifts Members and ticket purchases through engaging with the netball and broader community. The role will be responsible for supporting Membership retention and acquisition strategies, game day ticket sales and community engagement strategies for the NSW Swifts. In addition to this, the position is responsible for supporting in match day fan engagement activities and assisting on executing Member & fan events where possible.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

Membership & Ticketing 

  • Support the day-to-day operations of the membership CRM System (Archtics) including but not limited to; fulfilment processing, data cleanse management, system management, event and price category building, event management within the (Archtics) system and the administration of the monthly and annual payment plan.
  • Support Marketing agenda to ensure all membership KPl's are achieved and champion a membership focus across all aspects of the club
  • Key point of contact for high tiered members such Foundation & Club 97
  • Coordinate the monthly rejected payments and lapsed member reports & emails
  • Develop and implement best practices to ensure the de-duping and uniqueness of the data reflects accurate figures whilst overseeing current subscriptions and groups within database and ensure are up to date
  • Support the day-to-day systems management with the fulfillment supplier TPF to ensure quality service standards are maintained within the membership program.
  • Prepare membership fulfillment card files and all packs are fulfilled in a timely and professional manner
  • Execute outbound direct communications to increase membership and ticket sales, both public and corporate via eDM’s, SMS, voice blasts and calls
  • Assist the Consumer Business Manager and General Manager of Marketing in the execution of marketing plans, to promote match day ticket sales
  • Assist & facilitate seasonal event builds for Ken Rosewall Arena in accordance with Membership and Ticket Sales division
  • Work with Consumer Business Manager to create innovative ticket sales strategies to maximize revenue, attendance, and prospective Member data from Club home games
  • Work closely with the Consumer Business Manager to increase average home ground attendances through creative marketing and coordinated match promotions.
  • Process internal and external ticket requests & requirements for all games in a timely manner
  • Assist Consumer Business Manager to work in conjunction with Netball Australia Team to implement Finals Series ticketing processes.
  • Ensure all new data supplied is cleansed and imported into the database in a timely manner

Event, Match Day & Experiences

  • Work alongside the Consumer Business Manager with planning and execution of all Member Events.
  • Work with Consumer Business Manager with planning and execution all member & fan experiences.
  • Assist with operational running of the game day including Member enquiries, servicing, and ticketing enquiries.
