Description

The Wellbeing & Engagement Manager will hold a key leadership role at CombatAUS, delivering best practice management in supporting the wellbeing of Combat athletes. This role is being offered as a 0.6FTE position, based at the CombatAUS National Performance Centre in Melbourne.

CORE PURPOSE:

The CombatAUS Wellbeing & Engagement Manager will seek to have CombatAUS recognised as a leader in supporting the wellbeing of athletes. This will be achieved through:

  • Providing system support relating to policy, procedures, and practices to promote and encourage athletes, coaches, and staff to have a constructive high performance experience;
  • Delivering associated programs and resources designed to improve athletes’ ability to effectively navigate the critical transition points throughout and beyond their sporting career;
  • Providing sound advice on wellbeing, particularly in the areas of Career and Personal development; and
  • Using the CombatAUS 2028 Strategy to lead, manage and implement the Wellbeing & Engagement (W&E) priorities to support the holistic development, safety, and protections of Categorised combat sport athletes
