Description

We are currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Soccer Coaches to join our coaching staff for both our Senior and Junior teams, including the Senior 1st Boys team. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about soccer and committed to fostering the growth and development of our students.

The ideal candidate will possess strong qualifications and experience in coaching soccer, with a deep understanding of the game and a proven ability to work with players at various skill levels.

If you are passionate about Soccer and dedicated to developing young athletes, we would love to hear from you! Please submit a short cover letter outlining your experience both playing and coaching, along with a current resume that includes details of three current referees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coach and mentor teams during training sessions and matches.
  • Develop and implement training plans tailored to the skill levels and further development of the students.
  • Promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and a positive culture leaving behind a legacy in the Guildford Grammar Soccer program.
  • Work closely with the Head of Soccer to support talented players in achieving both team and individual success.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants during training and fixtures.

Training Schedule:

  • Monday and Wednesday, 3:30 PM - 5:30 PM (Junior Teams)
  • Tuesday and Thursday, 3:30 PM - 5:30 PM (Senior Teams)

Fixture Schedule:

  • Friday afternoons 12pm - 4pm (Junior Teams)
  • Saturday mornings (Senior Teams)

About you:

  • Strong knowledge of Soccer and proven coaching techniques.
  • Coaching accreditation is preferred but not essential.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate young athletes.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • A commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive sporting environment.
  • The right to work in Australia.
  • Police Check (dated within the last 6 months).
  • Current Working with Children Check.
  • Previous coaching experience preferred.
  • Ability to build rapport with students and colleagues within the Sports Department and across the School.
