WAIS is seeking a dedicated Sports Dietitian to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with athletes to achieve peak performance through nutrition and ensure their wellbeing while maintaining a Win Well ethos and managing risks.
Please note, this role has a maximum term of 12 months to cover parental leave at 0.6 FTE.
The successful candidate will be a collaborative team player and work closely with other performance support disciplines.

Role Overview:
In this role your key areas of responsibility encompass:
- Provide evidence-based nutritional interventions for optimal performance.
- Deliver educational sessions to athletes, helping them make informed, high-performance nutrition decisions.
- Assess and monitor risks of disordered eating and provide appropriate referrals when needed.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver holistic support to athletes.
- Take responsibility for nutritional interventions within assigned sports programs.
- Promote and implement best practices across the organisation.
About you:
- You will have the following minimum qualifications:
- Tertiary qualification in Dietetics
- Accredited Practicing Dietitian (APD) with Dietitians Australia
- Accredited Sports Dietitian (ASD) with Sports Dietitians Australia
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in sports dietetics.
- Demonstrated experience personalised nutrition plans tailored to athlete performance goals
- Ability to work under pressure
