Reporting to the Membership Manager, this role will be responsible for the delivery of the consumer sales and retention programs, execution of the annual sales campaign, day to day membership operations, and delivery of an exceptional level of customer service to all members, fans and ticket purchasers. 

The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

  • Delivering outstanding customer service to all members and fans.
  • Making sales or pro-active servicing calls to prospective and existing members.
  • Working within the consumer team to reach set membership and ticketing sales and revenue targets.
  • Create retention strategies to ensure membership retention numbers are in line with club targets.
  • Oversee the clubs nurture program of 1st and 2nd year members.
  • Design and execute strategies to ensure structured follow up non-renewals of members.
  • Be proactive in addressing any potential issues that may affect member retention and introduce intervention programs where required.
  • Assisting with the daily operations of the consumer team in conjunction with manager and fellow team members.
  • Recording of all member and fan information, feedback and follow up within the customer database ensuring data integrity is maintained.
  • Growing revenue through the promotion of premium membership packages and add on products to current members.
  • Attendance at and assistance with the coordination of match day and event activities as required.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A strong personal brand which personifies the GCFC values.
  • Demonstrated strength in sales, relationship building and stakeholder management.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational, time management & prioritisation skills.
  • High level of written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Driven to provide an outstanding & comprehensive customer service to all GC Suns staff, clients, members, fans & guests.
  • Experience in using databases and maintaining customer records.
  • Resourceful with the ability to think on your feet and take ownership of responsibilities.
  • Flexible and adaptable with the ability to work within a 24/7 environment.
  • Team player who will contribute to the Club goals & sound knowledge of AFL is desirable.
