About the Role

Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager, this hands-on role is perfect for a content-savvy creator who’s ready to lead our social media presence and support key marketing campaigns across digital and print. You'll be central to how we connect with players, fans, and partners - from producing short-form video content to managing national campaigns.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Owning and growing our social media presence with scroll-stopping content, reels, and stories.
  • Creating and scheduling engaging posts and campaigns across multiple channels.
  • Designing eye-catching visuals in Canva.
  • Planning and delivering national and local marketing campaigns.
  • Creating and managing Meta ads to amplify reach and engagement.
  • Supporting event marketing and digital content creation at major activations.
  • Updating website and landing pages to enhance user experience and SEO.
  • Providing insights and reports to measure the success of marketing initiatives.
  • Collaborating with teams across the organisation to support growth and participation outcomes.

About You

You’re a proactive and organised marketer with a flair for content and a keen eye for design. You understand brand storytelling and how to connect with audiences across platforms. You’re just as comfortable on Canva or Instagram as you are writing campaign copy or analysing engagement stats.

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Experience managing and growing social media accounts (especially Instagram, Facebook, TikTok).
  • Skills in content planning, creation, and copywriting.
  • Familiarity with tools like Canva, InDesign, Campaign Monitor, and CMS platforms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Commercial awareness and the ability to deliver partner-aligned content.
  • Passion for sport - bonus points if you love (or play) Touch Football!
  • A current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
  • A driver’s licence and flexibility to travel or work after hours as needed.

Salary range for the position is: $55-$70k and salary of successful candidate will be determined by level of experience and skillset
