About the Tournament:
The AFC Women’s Asian Cup is the oldest running major women’s football tournament where national teams from the Asian Football Confederation's (AFC) participating nations compete. The tournament is held every 4 years and Australia is proud to host the 21st edition in March 2026 across three Host Cities: Perth, Gold Coast and Sydney. The tournament duration is from 1 – 21 March 2026. The AFC Women’s Asian Cup Australia 2026™ will determine the six best finishing AFC teams that qualify for the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2027 in Brazil.
About the Volunteer Opportunity:
Volunteers will be at the heart of the tournament’s success, supporting matches across all three host cities – Perth, Gold Coast and Sydney – from 1- 21 March and helping deliver an unforgettable experience for fans, players and officials from all 12 competing nations.

Volunteers will get a once-in-a-lifetime experience at a major sporting event, an opportunity to build confidence, gain valuable career skills, make lifelong friends and create unforgettable memories.
Volunteer Requirements:
- You are at least 16 years old by 31 October 2025
- You are an Australian citizen or hold a valid visa to stay in Australia, including a tourist or student visa
- You can speak and understand English - other languages are a bonus!
- You can commit to at least 7 shifts in Perth, 8 shifts in Sydney or 3 shifts in Gold Coast between 1 - 21 March 2026
- You can attend our in-person training in February 2026
- Everyone over the age of 18: you have a valid Working with Children Check or are willing to get one
Volunteer Locations:
Volunteer opportunities are offered across three vibrant cities: Perth, Gold Coast and Sydney. While most roles will be at stadiums, some volunteers will also support operations at airports, hotels, and training sites.
Stadiums:
- Sydney: Stadium Australia (Olympic Park) and Western Sydney Stadium (Parramatta)
- Perth: Perth Stadium (Center) and Perth Rectangular Stadium (HBF Park)
- Gold Coast: Gold Coast Stadium (Rubina)
