St Aidan’s Anglican Girls’ School is seeking enthusiastic casual sports coaches to join our coaching team. These roles help create positive, engaging sporting experiences for students while encouraging skill development, confidence and a lifelong enjoyment of sport.

About St Aidan's

Located in the heart of Corinda, St Aidan's is a close-knit community with just over 1,000 students from Prep to Year 12, including a co-educational Kindergarten. Our smaller school environment ensures that each student receives personalised attention and thrives in a supportive atmosphere.

The Roles

St Aidan’s offers an inclusive and vibrant sporting program with a proud tradition of participation and performance. Sport brings challenge, and a vital balance to academic life. Everyday our girls have the opportunity to participate, to challenge themselves physically and to achieve their personal bests. Our primary goal is to give every girl a desire to have a lifelong involvement in sport because of the positive experiences and enjoyable memories they gained at school.

We have casual positions available to coach: 

  • Basketball  
  • Football  
  • Netball   
  • AFL 
  • Cricket 
  • Athletics and Cross Country
Experience and Requirements
  • Bring specialist knowledge and experience, passion and enthusiasm for coaching and mentoring students with an aim to achieve success and improvement.
  • Have a Paid Blue Card (Working with Children) or ability to obtain.
  • Have excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Depending on the sport, be available for at least two sessions (before / after school) per week.
  • Attend fixtures on Saturday mornings, if required.

  • Cover letter: A brief statement expressing your interest in the sport that you are interested in coaching, reflecting on your experience, outlining what you would bring to this position including what availability to coach is.
  • Curriculum Vitae: Full name, confidential email address and mobile contact details. Confirmation of Australian work rights. Positions held, dates, key responsibilities and key achievements. Details of education and qualifications. Any other relevant information, such as professional memberships and community activities.
  • Professional Referees: Provide details of two professional referees, both of which you have reported to (including one from your current or most recent employer).

Shortlisting and interviewing will be happening continually throughout the application period and candidates are encouraged to apply without delay.
