We currently have two Permanent Full-Time positions available to join our Wellness Team as an Exercise Physiologist.
- 1 x Full Time position 38 hours/week: Monday- Friday roster
- 1 x Full Time position 38 hours/week: Tuesday- Saturday roster
Suitable applicants would be required to work across department operational hours.

Here’s what you’ll be up to…
- Design and implement personalised exercise programs, utilising both gym and hydrotherapy pool for treatments
- Delivering accredited exercise physiology services to private, Medicare, SIRA Workcover, DVA, CTP and NDIS clients
- Play an essential role in helping clients manage chronic conditions, recover from injury and improve overall physical health and wellbeing
- Providing accurate and timely reporting to ensure proper documentation with an emphasis on best practice, governance and legislation.
- Foster strong working relationships across other departments to ensure a consistent and positive client experience.
- Lead and support group-based exercise and rehabilitation programs where appropriate

What are we looking for?
- Someone who has a genuine passion for helping people achieve rehabilitation or functional goals
- Enjoys working in a supportive team environment and contributing to team goals
- Demonstrates respect, accountability and innovation and is motivated to make a positive impact in our diverse community
- Holds appropriate tertiary qualification and Exercise Physiologist Accreditation
- A valid NSW Working with Children Check
- First Aid and CPR Certificate
The must-know bits
You will be required to undertake employment checks, which may include a Criminal History Check, Qualification Check, Working with Children Check, Medical Declaration and/or a Functional Test, as relevant to the position for which you have applied.
Where a Criminal History Check is required and has returned a result that indicates disclosable court outcomes, you will be required to provide a copy of the report to Penrith City Council, for review, to progress through the recruitment process.
