Recess Padel Club is seeking professional Padel Coaches or experienced Tennis Coaches looking to transition into Padel to join our foundation team for our March/April launch. We provide specialized training to help high-level tennis coaches adapt their skills to the padel court.
This is a part-time position with a clear pathway to full-time hours as club demand and our Academy grow.
Key Responsibilities:
Coaching: Delivering high-quality sessions for both adults and juniors, ranging from beginners to advanced players.
Events & Tournaments: Assisting in the organization and execution of club social events, clinics, and monthly tournaments.
Community Growth: Actively engaging with members to foster a strong club culture and encouraging player progression through our Academy levels.
Business Development: Proactively identifying opportunities for client acquisition and contributing innovative ideas to improve the club’s sporting programs.
Requirements:
Experience: Proven experience in padel or tennis coaching.
Qualifications: Relevant coaching certifications and a valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) are essential.
Specialized Skills: Knowledge and certification in specific physical preparation for racket sports (Padel/Tennis) will be highly regarded.
Soft Skills: Strong interpersonal skills and a professional approach to technical and tactical athlete development.
Flexibility: Ability to work a rotating roster, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends to meet peak demand.
