The role
The Performance Psychologist - Co-Curricular Performance plays a pivotal role in proactively supporting students engaged in Co-Curricular environments, including sport, performing arts, debating, and music.
This role is designed to enhance performance, wellbeing, and personal development by equipping students with the psychological skills required to thrive under pressure. Operating at the intersection of performance optimisation, early intervention, and preventative mental skills development, the role supports students before challenges escalate.
Working within the College’s wellbeing and performance framework, the Performance Psychologist collaborates closely with the Lead - Psychological Services, the school leadership team, and co-curricular staff. The position complements - rather than replaces - existing clinical counselling services.
Key to the success of this position are three core components: Student performance support/Group Programs and Preventative Education/ Assessment and Case Management.
This newly created opportunity is a part-time, permanent, onsite position (2 days per week, term time). The role sits within our well-resourced and highly regarded Psychology team, based in our brand-new Wellbeing Centre.
Our experienced psychologists work collaboratively and are deeply committed to supporting student wellbeing, with the care and development of our students at the heart of everything we do.
