We’re seeking a driven Consumer Engagement Coordinator operating within a fast-paced, elite sporting environment to help shape our corporate and stakeholder engagement at one of Australia’s most exciting and growing sporting organisations.
About the role
Reporting to the Consumer Manager, this role supports the delivery of engaging fan experiences across consumer programs and match day operations, helping drive fan engagement through safe, professional and high-quality activations aligned with Club values.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead and deliver the Heartland Hoops program, ensuring safe, inclusive and engaging experiences for participants.
- Act as Camp Director during camps and support recruitment and management of coaching staff in line with child safety and coaching standards.
- Assist with the marketing and delivery of the Phoenix Academy and Kmart Game Time programs.
- Coordinate match day group activations and provide support across home games during the NBL season.
- Support consumer enquiries relating to membership, ticketing and participation programs.
- Build relationships with local basketball clubs and associations to drive commercial outcomes.
- Lead the Club Partnership Ticketing Program for NBL27 and provide accurate reporting on membership, camp and ticket sales.
Please note this role includes match day support at all home games, with evening and weekend work required during the NBL season.
The ideal candidate
The ideal candidate is a highly organised and detail-oriented, with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. They thrive in a flexible, fast-paced environment and can think strategically to identify and maximise new opportunities.
Ideally you will have experience delivering sport or youth participation programs, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. A strong understanding of basketball and a genuine passion for learning and growing within the industry will be highly regarded.
