About The Role
The Head Coach of Cricket will lead the 1st XI program with a commitment to excellence, driving high-performance standards and nurturing the development of emerging 1st XI players. Working closely with the Director of Sport – Cricket, the Head Coach will help shape an inspiring, positive, and growth-focused environment, and play a key role in building a cricket program where our most talented players continue to thrive, elevate their skills, and achieve sustained success.
This role offers the chance to shape a high performance program, inspire talented young students within a respected and well-resourced sporting environment.
How You’ll Make An Impact
- Shape a high-performance cricket program and design and deliver a coaching framework that drives both immediate success and long-term player development.
- Play a key role in team selection, collaborating with other stakeholders to select balanced, competitive 1st and 2nd XI squads.
- Lead the 1st XI to excellence, coaching the team to perform at a consistently competitive level
- Elevate players at every stage, delivering targeted skills development that supports students with diverse abilities.
- Optimise cricket resources and operations, ensuring equipment, facilities, and training environments are prepared, maintained, and used effectively to support high-quality match play and training.
- Mentor and support the coaching team, guiding casual coaches to deliver the program with consistency, professionalism, and a shared commitment to player growth.
What You’ll Bring
- Minimum Level 2 Coaching Accreditation.
- Qualifications or significant equivalent experience coaching Cricket.
- Experience leading, managing and developing a team and/or group of coaches.
- Ability to establish effective relationships with students, colleagues, parents, and the wider community.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
- Working with Children, First Aid and CPR Certificates.
- NSW Drivers’ Licence.
