Help deliver the events that bring Touch Football communities together across NSW
NSW Touch Football is entering an exciting new phase of growth, alignment and event delivery. We are seeking an organised, energetic and practical team member to join our organisation as Events Coordinator.
This is a great opportunity to contribute to the planning and delivery of some of the largest and most important Touch Football events, tournaments and championships in New South Wales. The role will support the successful execution of NSW Touch Football’s event calendar and help ensure our events are professional, participant-focused, well organised and aligned to the future direction of the sport.
From planning and preparation through to on-ground delivery and post-event review, this role will be central to supporting high-quality event experiences for participants, officials, volunteers, affiliates, suppliers, venues and the broader Touch Football community.
About the role
The Events Coordinator will support the Events Manager and broader commercial portfolio across several key areas:
- Event Planning and Delivery Support: You will assist with the planning, preparation and delivery of NSW Touch Football events, championships and major competitions, including logistics, venue requirements, supplier liaison, staffing coordination, schedules, run sheets and event documentation.
- Event Administration and Operational Coordination: You will support the administration and coordination required to deliver events effectively, including equipment lists, participant information, supplier communication, venue documentation, competition structures, draws, scheduling and team roster administration.
- Event Presentation, Stakeholder and Participant Support: You will help ensure NSW Touch Football events are delivered professionally, with strong presentation, clear communication, responsive stakeholder support and a positive participant experience.
- Reporting, Improvement and Organisational Contribution: You will assist with post-event reporting, review and evaluation, while identifying opportunities to improve event systems, workflows, logistics and service quality.
The role will also provide on-ground event support and contribute to major organisational initiatives, including State Championships and other key events across the NSW Touch Football calendar.

Experience in sport, recreation or community event delivery will be highly regarded.
