We are seeking a dynamic and hands-on Marketing & Partnerships Manager to lead Capital Football's marketing, brand, communications, sponsorship and event promotion activities. This is a broad and influential role responsible for driving engagement, growing commercial partnerships, enhancing the visibility of football and supporting some of the region's largest football events.
Based in Deakin, Canberra, you will join a small, collaborative team where initiative, creativity and relationship-building are highly valued. This role is ideal for an experienced marketing professional who enjoys both strategic planning and hands-on delivery, and who is excited by the opportunity to make a meaningful impact across the football community.
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
The Marketing & Partnerships Manager is responsible for leading Capital Football's marketing and partnership activities, strengthening the organisation's profile, growing sponsorship revenue and delivering engaging communications across all levels of the game.
Working closely with clubs, partners, media, volunteers and internal stakeholders, you will help tell the story of football in the ACT while identifying opportunities to grow participation, engagement and commercial support.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver marketing, communications, brand and partnership strategies aligned with organisational objectives.
- Create and deliver engaging campaigns and content across digital, social, print and traditional media platforms.
- Lead media relations, match streaming initiatives and storytelling opportunities that showcase football across the region.
- Identify, secure and manage commercial partnerships and sponsorships, ensuring strong partner relationships and delivery of contractual benefits.
- Lead the planning, promotion and delivery of major Capital Football events, including Kanga Cup, Finals Month and community football initiatives.
- Manage event marketing, sponsorship activation and stakeholder engagement activities to maximise event impact and participant experience.
- Build strong relationships with clubs, participants, volunteers, media and community stakeholders to strengthen engagement and support the growth of football.
