Southern Districts Football Club

“With 34 teams and close to 1,000 participants, Southern Districts Football Club operates at a scale comparable with some of the largest community football clubs in the country — now seeking a Women's Premier League Coach to lead performance, build culture, develop talent, and drive the continued growth of women's football across the Club.”

About the Club

The Southern Districts Football Club is one of the Northern Territory’s largest and most influential football clubs, with a strong and expanding footprint across both Junior and Senior programs.

The Club currently supports approximately 1,000 participants and fields 34 teams across all levels, including:

  • 4 Senior Men’s teams
  • 3 Senior Women’s teams
  • 27 Junior teams (Under 9 through to Under 17.5)

This scale positions the Southern Districts Football Club as a genuine multi-program football operation.

Supported by a committed volunteer base and growing membership, the Club plays a central role within the local football community and broader NT football landscape.

As the club continues to grow, SDFC is transitioning to a Four Pillars operating model:

  • Participation (Junior Football)
  • Performance (Senior Football)
  • Pathway (Talent Academy)
  • Revenue (Commercial)

This structure ensures clarity, alignment, and long-term sustainability across all areas of the club.
