You will own new commercial revenue across sponsorship inventory, digital products, content, broadcast integrations, events, and fan engagement platforms.

The Role

You own new commercial revenue. The full remit: sponsorship, digital, content, broadcast integrations, and events. Wide scope, real ownership, and enough structure to work within without ever feeling like you're stuck in it.

Day to day, that looks like:

  • Build and manage a new business pipeline across all NBL commercial categories: identifying categories, finding contacts, getting in the room
  • You won't be working alone - you'll work across content, marketing and digital to put the best possible solution on the table
  • Monetise assets across sponsorship inventory, digital platforms, content, broadcast integrations and events
  • Take deals all the way through prospecting, pitching and closing
  • Develop compelling packages that solve real client problems and align to NBL audiences
  • Work across marketing, digital and content to put the best possible solution on the table
  • Forecast accurately, report honestly, and stay across what is moving in the market

Who We're Looking For

You see opportunity where others see complexity. You build commercial relationships that last because you understand the people on the other side of the table, not just the deal.

  • Proven background in commercial sales, business development or revenue generation
  • Experience in sports, media or entertainment, or a compelling story for why these fits
  • Demonstrated ability to close complex deals and manage a pipeline with discipline
  • Strong proposal and presentation skills: you make the ask compelling
  • Excellent stakeholder management across clients, agencies and internal teams

And the non-negotiables: you own outcomes end to end. You bring commercial discipline and creative thinking in equal measure. You are genuinely invested in the sport and the fan experience, because at the NBL, the best commercial outcomes happen when the fan wins too.
