Mt Martha Cricket Club is seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Women's Head Coach to lead our growing women's program for the 2026/27 season.

Following two successful seasons, we are looking to continue building a positive, inclusive and competitive environment where players of all experience levels can develop their skills, confidence and love of the game.

Our squad includes a mix of experienced cricketers and players who are relatively new to the sport. We're looking for someone who enjoys developing people as much as developing cricketers.

About the Role

  • Lead and coach the Women's Senior Team throughout the 2026/27 season.
  • Plan and deliver engaging weekly training sessions.
  • Coach the team on match days.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive and enjoyable team culture.
  • Support individual player development across all skill levels.
  • Work collaboratively with the Women's Captain, committee and broader club.

About You

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has a passion for cricket and developing players.
  • Can build strong relationships and create an enjoyable team environment.
  • Communicates effectively and positively.
  • Is reliable, organised and committed to helping our women's program continue to grow.
  • Previous coaching experience is welcomed but not essential.
  • Both playing and non-playing coaches are encouraged to apply.

What We Offer

  • A supportive and welcoming community club.
  • A committed and enthusiastic playing group.
  • The opportunity to shape and grow an expanding women's program.
  • Ongoing support from the committee and club leadership.

An honorarium will be offered, with payment to be discussed with the successful applicant.

If you're passionate about women's cricket and would like to be part of a club with an exciting future, we'd love to hear from you.
