THE OPPORTUNITY

Help shape the next generation of Queensland's elite netball athletes

  • Contribute to coach and workforce development through education programs, presentations and webinars.
  • Provide sport science support within the Queensland Firebirds high-performance environment.
  • Champion athlete wellbeing, child safeguarding and inclusive workplace practices.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

You will be an energetic and collaborative practitioner who thrives in a high-performance environment and is passionate about developing athletes and people.

Essential requirements:

  • Degree in Human Movement, Exercise Science, Sports Science, Coaching or a related discipline.
  • ASCA Level 2 accreditation (or the ability to obtain within six months of commencement).

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

  • Experience working with athlete monitoring technologies and performance data.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience using athlete management systems and performance analytics tools.
  • A collaborative, authentic and athlete-centred approach to performance development.
