The Newcastle Jets Football Club is seeking an energetic and motivated Partnership Executive to join our Commercial team. This is an exciting opportunity for a relationship-focused professional who thrives on delivering exceptional partner experiences, developing new business opportunities, and contributing to the growth of our football clubs.

About the Role

As a Partnership Executive, you will play a key role in managing and activating our commercial partnerships, ensuring sponsors receive outstanding value from their investment while helping the Club achieve its commercial objectives.

You will work closely with corporate partners, internal stakeholders, and match-day operations teams to deliver innovative sponsorship activations and memorable experiences that strengthen long-term relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and nurture relationships with club sponsors and commercial partners.
• Coordinate and deliver sponsorship rights and activation programs.
• Identify opportunities to upsell, renew, and expand existing partnerships.
• Assist with the acquisition of new commercial partners.
• Prepare partnership proposals, presentations, and performance reports.
• Coordinate partner hospitality and experiences at Newcastle Jets matches and events.
• Work collaboratively across marketing, media, events, and football operations teams.
• Maintain accurate partnership and CRM records.

About You

You are a driven, organised, and customer-focused professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and building strong business relationships.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Experience in sponsorship, account management, sales, business development, or relationship management.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Outstanding attention to detail and organisational abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Commercially minded with a proactive approach.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms.
• Current Australian driver's licence.

Desirable

• Experience in sport, entertainment, events, or hospitality industries.
• Knowledge of the Australian sporting landscape.
• Qualifications in Business, Marketing, Sport Management, or a related field.
• Experience in sponsorship activation and partnership reporting.
