We're looking for an experienced and passionate Senior Performance Dietitian to lead and deliver our performance nutrition program across AFL, AFLW and VFL.

Working within a multidisciplinary high performance team, you will play a key role in helping athletes fuel, recover and perform at their best. You'll work closely with coaches, medical staff and performance staff while providing leadership across all areas of nutrition support within the Club.

About the role

Reporting to the High Performance Manager, you will:

  • Lead the Club's nutrition strategy across AFL, AFLW and VFL.
  • Provide individual nutrition support to athletes.
  • Develop fuelling, recovery, hydration and body composition plans.
  • Deliver engaging nutrition education and practical learning sessions.
  • Monitor body composition and athlete nutrition outcomes.
  • Work closely with the Performance Chef to ensure food provision aligns with performance goals.
  • Support travel, game day and recovery nutrition requirements.
  • Provide guidance and leadership to casual nutrition and food service staff.
  • Contribute to a collaborative and high-performing football environment.

What you'll bring

We're looking for someone who is:

  • An Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD).
  • Holds accreditation as a Sports Dietitian or is recognised through Sports Dietitians Australia.
  • Experienced in sports nutrition and athlete performance within an elite environment.
  • Passionate about building strong relationships with athletes and staff.
  • Able to translate nutrition science into practical, everyday advice.
  • Highly organised and comfortable managing multiple priorities.
  • A collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

This role will require some flexibility to work outside standard business hours, including weekends, game days and travel as required.
