The Head Coach will lead the day-to-day football program, coaching, game strategy and on-field performance, with a strong focus on player development, clear standards, collaboration and wellbeing. The role will also lead and mentor the coaching team and contribute to player recruitment, list management and retention.

We are looking for a coach who can combine strong football knowledge with effective people leadership — someone who can develop players and coaches, build connection and accountability, and establish a clear football identity for the program.

Essential Requirements

• Level 2 Coaching Accreditation
• Working with Children Check (or evidence of application)
• Relevant practical coaching experience; experience leading a senior or high-performance football program is strongly preferred.

Desirable Criteria

• Experience in VFLW, AFLW, Coates Talent League or another high-performance football environment.
• Experience coaching and mentoring athletes and other coaches.
• Proficiency with coaching, vision and analysis platforms such as Hudl.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification.
