Overview
This course provides a comprehensive guide for coaches about a range of different AFL Strategies for Attack, Defence, Stoppages, Contest & Tactics with each of their pro’s and con’s. Using game changing technology, the course aims to improve the participants tactical knowledge of the modern game, through strategic analysis from behind the goals vision and using animations. Tailored for coaches and analysts, this course provides solutions to help team’s problem solve match day scenarios by countering specific strategies to help teams create advantages in season and in the coaches box. Finally, the course teaches coaches about how to teach different strategies through game sense training design, this is so you not only know how to create a game plan, but how you can plan to teach one.

Presenter - Austin Stubbs
Austin O’Connor Stubbs, is an accomplished Football Coach who has an extensive amount of education and experience working across both the AFL/AFLW competitions in a range of roles such as analytics and coaching. Austin’s expertise is in the area of skill acquisition and development coaching. He has worked with five current and former senior AFL coaches and is the Director of Development for AFHP High Performance Coaching, where he works to professionally develop AFL coaches across all levels of the industry.
Format
The Centre for Athlete and Sports Education courses are delivered via Live Zoom Workshops plus Pre and Post Course Online Activities in our Learning Management System to provide a rich educational experience that can be accessed from any location at any time. If you are unable to attend the Zoom workshop/s they recorded and available in the online portal to watch for 7 days post workshop.
