Description

Melbourne Girls Grammar is seeking an organised and enthusiastic Netball Coordinator to join to Netball program on a part-time basis. This role works with the Head of Netball to oversee our thriving Boroondara Netball program. Aside from working closely to support the Head of Netball, this role acts as the main contact point for coaches, players, and parents during gameday and training. The hours and days of work will vary across the year to match the requirements of each stage of the season/off-season.

As the successful candidate, you will be extremely organized, detail-oriented, and efficient, bringing a tech-savvy approach to administration and planning. You will be an excellent communicator, able to quickly build rapport with players, coaches, and parents, and share their concerns with the Head of Netball in a consistent and timely manner. You will be a friendly, collaborative, and authentic team player, who is keen to build strong relationships with players, coaches, and the wider Netball community. You will also have demonstrated experience coaching and supporting with the administration of sports programs.

This role provides opportunities to build lasting relationships with students, coaches, and other staff, while getting outside, being active, and being deeply involved in the Netball community. Minimum requirements:

  • Foundation Netball Coaching Accreditation
  • Proven experience in coaching Netball
  • Understanding of ‘Net, Set, Go’ accreditation
  • Sports Australia Community Coaching Essential Skills Course or willingness to obtain
  • Current First Aid (HLTAID011) and Provide CPR (HLTAID009) certification.
  • Current Victorian Employee Working with Children Check.
