Shore Swimming provides swimming lessons for boys and girls from 6 years of age with the aim of strengthening their swimming skills in preparation for the squad swimming program. Reporting to the Head of Swimming and working with a team of coaches you will have an opportunity to contribute to initiatives that will help shape the direction, structure and management of the swim school.
This is an incredibly exciting time to join the Shore Swim Coaching team. You will have the opportunity to help build culture and a successful, cohesive team, one that invests in students from 7 years of age right through to elite level, providing pathways towards high performance swimming. Your enthusiastic and positive attitude coupled with your genuine desire to develop as a best in class coach, will see you succeed in this role. You are willing to learn and continually develop to ensure delivery of the highest standards in programs and coaching.
Hours for work are:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday - 6:00am through to 7:45am
To be successful, you will have:
- Current Development Coach accreditation or equivalent
- Current SCTA Membership
- Experience coaching in a development & competitive squads environment
- Senior First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Certification (or willing to obtain)
- Working with Children Check (WWCC)
