Northern Territory Cricket Ltd is the peak sporting body for cricket in the Territory. As custodians of the sport, we work closely with Cricket Australia, the seven other states & Territory Associations and our members to serve and grow the game. About the role
This newly created role will provide key operational support to both the Head of Clubs and Competitions and the Head of Cricket, as Northern Territory Cricket seek to transition from volunteer-based competition management to a professional delivery model, and ensure the most effective pathway structures are in place and in line with Australian Cricket.
The Competitions and Pathway Coordinator will be responsible for two main areas:
Add administrative punch and proficiency to our ability to deliver professional and exceptionally well-run competitions, offer great experiences, and ultimately support the growth and development of local clubs.
Provide critical administrative support to the delivery and management of male and female pathways programs, helping ensure our most talented players, coaches and umpires reach their potential.
About you
Relevant tertiary qualification in Sports Administration, Sports Management, Recreation or related field (desirable).
Exceptional planning, organisation and administrative skills including the ability to manage processes, systems and stakeholders.
Meticulous in your approach, with an exceptional eye for detail that ensures accuracy and precision in your work.
Strong work ethic with a desire to consistently produce high quality administration, information and communication to both internal and external stakeholders.
Advanced computer skills with proficiency in the MS Office Suit of applications (EXCEL, WORD) and other sport related platforms (ie.e Play HQ, Officials HQ).
An ability to produce high quality reporting, data and statistics, including spreadsheets, databases and record keeping.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including a demonstratable understanding of the local community sport and volunteer environment.
A proactive self-starter with drive and initiative, and the ability to work both independently as well as part of a broader team.
