Description

Equestrian Northern Territory (ENT), the peak sporting body for Olympic equestrian disciplines such as Dressage and Jumping, as well as national disciplines Show Horse and Interschool, and is seeking passionate and committed individuals to fill 3 vacant Volunteer Board Director positions.

As the NT Branch of Equestrian Australia, ENT plays a pivotal role in nurturing, supporting, and growing equestrian sports across the Northern Territory. Our vision is to create a thriving equestrian community for Territorians, now and into the future.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic direction and leadership for ENT, helping to grow equestrian sports in line with the ENT Strategic Plan 2022–2025.
  • Uphold and strengthen governance, culture, and sustainability within the organization.
  • Support the development of local coaches, officials, volunteers, and riders.
  • Advocate for safe, inclusive, and healthy environments for equestrian sport across the NT.
  • Help guide ENT’s mission to increase participation, membership, and representation at the interstate and national levels.

Key Selection Criteria

  • Previous experience in leadership, governance, or similar voluntary positions is desirable but not required.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to commit time and effort to attend board meetings and contribute to ENT’s goals.
  • A desire to support the equestrian community and develop skills as part of a dynamic and successful team.

  • 18 years of age or older
  • Member of Equestrian Northern Territory
