Description

West Pymble Football Club was established in February 1957 and was the first football club in the Ku-ring-gai district. In our 65 years of existence, our recent seasons has seen us field - an average – over 60 teams each year in the Northern Suburbs Football Association (NSFA) competitions. With more than 900 registered playing members, this makes us among the four largest clubs in NSFA.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head Coach to lead our U6-U11 Miniroos and JDL (mixed teams).
The ideal candidate will be responsible for coaching our teams, developing training programs, and promoting a positive team culture. This role requires strong leadership skills, a passion for youth development, and the ability to inspire players, coaches, and parents alike.

  • Develop game strategies and provide coaching during matches.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and respectful environment for players, coaches, and families.
  • Mentor assistant coaches and promote their professional development.
  • Collaborate with club officials and parents to enhance player experience and club operations.
  • Manage team schedules, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and maintain records of player development.
  • Ensure compliance with club policies, safety regulations, and league requirements. Must be available Saturday mornings in season and Monday/Wednesday evenings for training.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a football coach, preferably in a community or youth setting.
  • Coaching certifications FA C License (or equivalent overseas qualification)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for community engagement and youth development.

  • Competitive remuneration based on experience and qualifications.
